First of all, I owe you all an apology. This took a lot longer to materialize than i thought it would. Most of it has to do with my being a perfectionist and thus never being happy with my project, but after a while, you just gotta go with it. Anyways without further ado, I'd like to announce that I now have my very own website.
It's been a little bit of a project for me lately. I've been bored and wanted a place to display my photos and my videos. Blogger wasn't really doing that and neither was flickr. So here it is. The Brand New www.joelrunyon.com . you can check it out, tell your friends and check back for updates. Also, I'll be blogging from now on over at my blog hosted on the website. Here's the direct link: blog.joelrunyon.com // Over time I'll be moving this blog over to that one as well, so that's where you should go for all future news on me :).
And don't worry, you can still subscribe to me my just adding the URL blog.joelrunyon & joel.runyon.com to your google reader, your blog following list, or any other RSS feed you might have. Also, you should be able to leave comments on that site using your google username. I've set it up, but I need some people to make sure it works. Let me know if you have problems. Otherwise I'll see you over at JoelRunyon.com

For those of you who don't know...
Almost 6 months straight in the US has proven to be a long enough break between travels. If you don't know already, I'll be heading to Jamaica doing logistics for a missions organization down there. I'll be there for a month. I'm not sure how much access I'll have to internet there but you can bet that if I do, I will do my best to blog. I'm guaranteed to be super-busy, but I find blogging is a good way to relax a bit and also keep you guys in the loop.

Check out my article on Matador!
Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been writing a ton. I've been kind of busy lately. However, I did want to let you guys know one little thing in my life: I got published! No big deal, right? Anyways. If you remember, I mentioned Matdortravel.com in one of my last posts and it turns out they have a listing of pieces they're looking for. So, I went ahead and wrote one for them on my time in Paris. Turns out that they liked it enough that they decided to publish it. You can check out the article here. If you like it, feel free to post it up anywhere else you want! Thanks!

Aruba, Jamaica ooo I wanna take ya.
So I'm officially going to Jamaica this summer. I got off the phone with Autumn this morning and its official. I'll be there for 4 weeks from the end of June to the end of July. I'll be home for about a week, then off to Aruba for 10 days or so with the family for one last family vacation (I can't remember the last one we had--maybe Florida my senior year of HS). Anyways, that takes a chunk out of my summer, provides a little bit of travel/adventure and a little (read very little) bit of money. I wonder what I'm getting into...
